The Magical Biography of Will Chandler
Even though Will Chandler was bitten by the magic snake at the early age of 7, the venom laid dormant for 30 years before it took affect. When it finally kicked in, it did so with a vengeance. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves, you see before the magic poison took affect he thought his calling was to the stage. So for many of his adolescent and young adult years he devoted this life to the theater, playing roles in plays such as the Odd Couple, Inherit the Wind, as well as an occasional Shakespeare play or two.

Then life kicked in and he decided to hang up his thespian masks to become a father and a wage earner. Quite by accident, it was his children that motivated him to walk into a magic shop and the rest was history. His life would never be the same again. He started out performing a few minor tricks for his children and their friends. Eventually he discovered that a magician could actually get paid for doing what loved and he started to perform professionally.

When he decided it was time to become part of the magical community he joined the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) and eventually became a member of the World Famous Hollywood Magic Castle. He then went on to compete in various performance competitions and won IBM’s Best Close Up Magician of the year, Best Stage magician of the year, and the all coveted, “Phil Calhoun Award; Best Magician of the year”.
